Josh Waddell, Area Manager, ChampionX/SLB
I grew up in western Kansas and was raised in the household of an Oil & Gas Operator. Graduated from Fort Hays State University with a B.S. in Biology. I began my professional career with Quest Diagnostics as a Clinical Microbiologist. In 2014 I accepted a technical position with SLB (formerly ChampionX and Nalco Champion) and found my way back to the oilfield. In my technical role, I traveled across the United States solving some of the most challenging upstream and midstream problems…even consulted on some high-profile global projects. Over time, my company role has changed, moving from technical to account management, and most recently into sales management and strategy. My wife and I live in Hays, Kansas and we have been blessed with three children. Hobbies include hiking, traveling, and spending time with our children.
